
Mr Dana Green is a graduate of DePaul University where he studied music education. Under the instruction of Hilel Kagan, Dana strove to enrich his understanding of string pedagogy through the study of the violin and viola. Dana apprenticed in music library techniques at the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Green teaches music in district 203 of Naperville where he directs the Naperville North High School Orchestra and Naper Elementary Orchestra. Dana has long believed in our need for music in society and hopes to encourage students to embrace the beauty and ineffable joy intrinsic to music.

Javier Mendoza
Javier José Mendoza has recently been appointed Conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the West Suburban Youth Orchestra. Mr. Mendoza is Music Director and Conductor of the Chicago Arts Orchestra. In addition, Mr. Mendoza is also the Music Director of the Metropolis Youth Symphony, resident orchestra of the Metropolis Theatre in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Mr. Mendoza has recently attended the conductor training program at Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italy, working with the Festival Orchestra of Sofia, Bulgaria and Maestro Gianluigi Gelmetti of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Mendoza has been Assistant Chorus Master for the “Music in the Mountains Festival,” Durango, Colorado. Mendoza has guest conducted the Young People’s Chorus of New York City as part of the Transient Glory Symposium and has guest conducted internationally with the State Philharmonic of Sibiu in Romania.
Mr. Mendoza studied at Butler University in Indianapolis with Henry Leck, and served as an intern conductor with the world-renowned Indianapolis Children's Choir. Mendoza continued training at the University of New Mexico, where he studied with Bradley Ellingboe, and graduated with distinction, receiving the Master of Music Degree. While in New Mexico, he was apprentice conductor to Roger Melone, Resident Conductor of the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra.
